What makes the design process at your agency different?
What makes the process different at HOK is the design talent I work with in Saint Louis and the global resources I have at my reach. It challenges and allows me to think big.
What makes a great designer?
Curiosity, passion and love of creating space for people.
How do you know you have succeeded?
Projects feel alive, they are thoughts and ideas we visualize and live with for years. They are the culmination of new concepts, iterations, failures and realizations. When it all comes together, filled with activity, living on its own and creating experiences that were at one time just dreams, you know you have succeeded.
What are the biggest challenges you face as a design leader?
Finding and developing the team in the studio and then aligning them with opportunities to create and succeed.
