Walé Oyéjidé, Esq. is often described as a “Renaissance man” who combats bias with creative storytelling. Learn about his entrepreneurial journey from musician to lawyer to filmmaker, writer, designer and the head of a global brand that uses fashion design as a vehicle to celebrate the perspectives of marginalized populations. Oyéjidé is the founder of Ikiré Jones. In addition to his role as the brand’s creative director, he designs its textiles/accessories and serves as the company’s writer. He gave a TED Talk at TED Global 2017 in Tanzania and spoke at the National Geographic Story Teller’s Summit in 2019.
