PechaKucha nights features inspirational stories brought forth by St. Louis’ cultural currency: creative thinkers, musicians, innovators, emerging entrepreneurs and more. PechaKucha STL aims to focus public dialogue on what makes this city great.

PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in 2003 as a venue for young designers to meet, network and introduce their work to the public. The event structure has evolved into a global phenomenon, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat,” PechaKucha’s signature format is based on a simple structure: 20 images x 20 seconds, resulting ina large number of concise, compelling stories presented in an exciting, accessible way.
